WHY THE ICON?
In the early 2000s Marc Jacobs, designer for LV, did the unthinkable: he ridiculed the logo of the Louis Vuitton house. As he said himself it was the one thing that was forbidden so of course he wanted to change it. On the Spring 2001 runway he called the infamous bags "anti-snob snobbism" and thanks to his fresh approach they instantly became a hit like no other. Nowadays LV Graffiti bags are beloved by celebrities like Kendall Jenner and vintage lovers around the world.
