Ethereal Blumarine dress from the 1998 F/W runway collection, worn by Madonna in the same year (in lilac). It has a smooth slip in a gorgeous shade of blue and a lace outer layer with floral motifs, adorned with small cotton flowers. Whimsical and romantic piece that evokes magical fairy tales and enchanted forests. An absolute gem for a vintage lover!
WHY THE ICON?
This particular dress was shown on the 1998 Fall / Winter Blumarine runway and worn by Madonna (in lilac color). It was designed by the iconic Anna Molinari the founder of the brand, who no longer designs for Blumarine. In the 90s she designed the most iconic Blumarine pieces that are now the brand's classics and are frequently recreated.
SIZING:
The tag says IT 44 and it best fits S-M. No stretch. The slip is slightly body-hugging while the outer part has straight, loose fit.
Slip: 100% Rayon. Outer: 90% Cotton and 10% Polyamide.
