Ethereal Blumarine dress from the 2008 F/W runway collection, made of 100% silk, worn by the Brazilian top model Isabeli Fontana. This gorgeous piece is made of a silky pleated fabric in aquamarine blue and adorned with golden sequin detailing that bring to mind fairy-tale mermaids. An absolute gem for a vintage lover!

WHY THE ICON?

This particular dress was presented during the 2008 Fall / Winter Blumarine runway by the Brazilian top model Isabeli Fontana. This design, in multiple color ways, went viral around 2023. It was designed by the iconic Anna Molinari the founder of the brand, who no longer designs for Blumarine. In the 90s she designed the most iconic Blumarine pieces that are now the brand's classics and are frequently recreated.

CONDITION:

Very good vintage condition. The dress still has a tag on, however, the straps are shortened (this can easily be undone) and there is a small discoloration on the back (see the last photo).
